Rainer Safferthal is trying to abuse supersized.org

Comment Spam? Referrer Spam? Trackback Spam? No, Blog-Spam! That's what's up! Check out supersized.org/">http://safferthal.supersized.org/, this guy named Rainer Safferthal (he's from Waiblingen, germany) signed up for supersized.org and used his blog to push his page-rank. Poor guy. He's also been abusing the services of log.ag, blog.de, blogspot.com, and blogg.de.

Hump the punk!

Can't moderate comments/trackbacks

Can't approve trackbacks or don't see comments in the "Comments" section of the administration suit? This is due to the userlevel people at supersized.org have by default. It currently doesn't allow for moderating comments and trackbacks. If you received a email announcing a comment or trackback to your blog you wish to be approved, drop me a mail and we'll work it out.

WYSIWYG editor popups

Some buttons in the toolbar of the WYSIWYG editor open popup windows which do not contain what they should, but the supersized.org homepage.

Load me up

Dig it?
Something on my server is spawning freaking wild httpds every once in a while. I haven't found a clear cause yet, but I am thinking it's the coWiki serving www.s9y.org. It looked so promising and is actually a really neat piece of wiki-software, but unfortunately has been a rude wiki a couple of times already, and I don't know of anything else that could be the cause. The cause for what, you wonder?

System loads of 90 and more. The funny thing is, that while the load explodes, the number of processes doesn't peak at all, and while the memory usage rises it doesn't go as crazy. Check this out (and the screenshot above, of course):

RSS, baby!

There still isn't: An overview of all blogs hosted at supersized.org. I'll add that soon :)

There is: A RSS-Feed with all entries posted by supersized.org users within the last 48h merged into one feed: http://www.supersized.org/rss/48h.xml. Still working on it, still beta, but I figured I'd let you know!

The titles still feel a little bit cheesy, but I didn't know a better place to put them. Would they be better at the end of each excerpt? I'll play around with this. If you have tips/suggestions/request, lemme know!

Media Library fixed

Alright alright, sorry for the borked media-library. It was supposed to show a little preview of each image instead of this yellow box. Well, it was a bug in s9y and I fixed it. There are still some issues with the WYSIWYG editor, but I am working on that. But make sure you click the "Rebuild Thumbs" button in your blog-administration.

That's it for tonight...
